If you do choose to drive, there is only Street Parking available so please allow time and prepare to walk. Unfortunately there is no disabled parking allocation on the streets of Hahndorf. There will be a road closure in place (Auricht Road) which will be open to local traffic only & may cause traffic delays. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

We know the ‘traditional’ german christkindlmarkts allow dogs to roam their markets, however for the safety and comfort of all patrons, our event is Pet Free. (Due to the size of the location & crowds).

Absolutely!! We love sharing the spirit of Christmas which includes taking photos, however there are a few things to keep in mind – Hand held cameras and mobile phones are permitted to be used, with respect of the privacy of others attending the markets.
The use of Tripods is not permitted.
The use of drones and remote controlled aircraft is strictly prohibited.

Can I BYO Food/Drink?

// Event History //

The Hahndorf Christkindlmarkt is an annual European-style Christmas market based in the German town of Hahndorf, that captures the essence of community, celebration, fun, laughter & family enjoying time together, such as is found in many cities in Europe over the Christmas period, but in a warm Aussie setting.

The market is organised and run by C3 Church Adelaide Hills, on their property, for the benefit of the Adelaide Hills Community and beyond.
